Information of AssyutIn the city of Assytu the low-key tourist office, tel 088/310-010 situated on the second floor of the Governorate building has little to offer except a brochure, however may be worth contacting if you are intending to stay more than a few hours, or make any excursions, usually they'll alert the police to keep tabs on you.
